Welcoming Elizabeth as our summer intern

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Hopton, and I am excited to be joining the team as the new Marketing and Communications Summer Intern for this wonderful organization! I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and I just finished my sophomore year at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Entrepreneurship and working towards going into marketing after college. Outside of school, I enjoy designing and crocheting clothes, making jewelry, and creating digital art. I also really enjoy reading and going on walks with my dog and my parents. I love having creative outlets and just enjoying the simple things in life.

I wanted to work at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison because I absolutely love the mission and goals of this organization. Having personally experienced a difficult medical situation with a close family member, I understand how challenging it can be, so the love and care that the RMHC team puts into helping families means a lot to me. I appreciate that the Ronald McDonald House goes above and beyond just providing care to the families that reach out to them, they also work at promoting and providing equitable health care to children who would otherwise not have access to it through the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program. The impact of this organization is overwhelmingly positive! I am so grateful to be a part of the team and to be able to give back to my community. I am excited to get to share more about the Ronald McDonald House via my marketing strategies and have everyone in Wisconsin understand how special this charity is.
