Team RMHC Readies for Chicago Marathon!

Cheer on #TeamRMHC as they lace up their sneakers and cross the finish line on Sunday, Oct. 8^th at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.  RMHC is one of four non-profit sponsors and teams from across the country go the extra mile by raising funds while running on behalf of their local chapter.

This is the largest RMHC-Madison team to date and their enthusiasm has set the bar high raising more than $13,000 and counting. Several runners are pursuing their first marathon and the camaraderie and community outpouring has made all their training worthwhile.

“I can’t believe how lucky I am to represent the Ronald McDonald House!” said Rob Stafslien, Team RMHC member. “What a perfect storm that I get to join this incredible team of people who are training for the Chicago Marathon AND fundraise for such a worthy cause. The training has been difficult, but it is easy to press through the difficult times knowing all of this is for RMHC and what you do support the health and wellbeing of families and children.”
