Our 2024 Events Recap

Wow, what an incredible year! We are grateful for the overwhelming support we received at both signature events. 

The season kicked off with the 28th Annual Rock Valley Golf Classic, held on a beautiful day at Janesville Country Club. Golf enthusiasts enjoyed a competitive round, starting with a cookout and raffle, and ending with a heartfelt program that raised $110,000.  Our deepest thanks go to the late Bill Kennedy for his invaluable role as master of ceremonies and champion over the decades.  His passing just weeks after the event is a tremendous loss to a mission he held so dearly. 

In August, we celebrated the 35th Annual RMHC Golf Classic, a two-day extravaganza at Nakoma Golf Club, featuring the Red Shoe Soirée and Golf Outing. This event surpassed all expectations, raising over $385,000! Notable moments include an inspiring mission moment from the Finco family, original artwork from Emma Abrams, whose family stayed at the House, and creative donation incentives (like the famous “worm”) courtesy of the UW Women’s Volleyball team.
