Spacesaver Supports RMHC-Madison
December 14th, 2023 | News
It’s interesting to watch life come full circle. Spacesaver in Fort Atkinson, a leading manufacturer of high-density storage solutions recently reached out to ask how they could best support guest families this holiday season. In December, we witness a remarkable display of compassion exchanged amongst strangers. Many times, it’s a family member, friend, or colleague who has been touched by the mission.
Just like many other companies, Spacesaver was in search of a meaningful way to give back. Their Outsourcing Program Manager, Chris Boycks, along with his family, personally benefited from the Ronald McDonald House when it opened thirty years ago. They became ambassadors for the cause. Now, two 6’ Giving Trees are displayed in their plant and corporate office, adorned with wish list ornaments.
Yet, Spacesaver is no stranger to RMHC-Madison. Through the generosity of former CEO Theodore Batterman and his family foundation, they ensured the recent expansion of the House was possible. Quietly supporting our community – and their own community – for decades.
A team from Spacesaver will bring boxes of wish list donations to Madison yet this month when they make an evening meal for guest families.
Shared Spacesaver CEO/President Mark Haubenschild, “We are honored to support Chris and his family’s efforts with RMHC, and to continue the legacy of community support Theodore (Ted) started at Spacesaver.”
As we wrap up the holiday season during our 30th Anniversary, this story is the perfect reminder about the lasting impact of our beautiful mission.
