MADISON, WI -— When it comes to the Ronald McDonald House of Madison, the Hess family knows first hand the relief and support the House provides for children and families in a time of need.  When Tanner was severely injured in 2001, he and his parents, Keith and Shelley, came to Madison for care at the American Family Children’s Hospital.  After exhausting hours at the hospital, the Hess family was able to unwind and relax at the Ronald McDonald House of Madison, which they called home for nearly a month. 

 

In an effort to “pay it forward,” they knew they wanted to do something. 

Stevens Point, WI--Delta Dental of Wisconsin has awarded a $400,000 grant to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison to help offset the operating expenses of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile through 2012. 

The community helped Light the House shine brightly this holiday season as the Ronald House Charities of Madison surpassed its fundraising goal with more than $239,000 in contributions to its major fundraising campaign.
